From the early morning hours, hundreds of athletes, supporters, and visitors could be seen along the famous colonnades, near the legendary Grandhotel Pupp, by the picturesque Teplá River, and throughout the historic city center. Karlovy Vary was literally breathing in the rhythm of movement, strength, and inspiration. Participants completed their routes surrounded by magnificent architecture, green forest trails, and the unique spa atmosphere that makes this city one of the most exceptional destinations in Europe.
We are especially delighted that among the marathon participants were guests of our hotel Hotel Zlatý Sloup — the remarkable athletes and supporters of an active and healthy lifestyle Julia Grygoryshyn and Tetiana Tymchuk. Their energy, positivity, and sporting spirit became a true highlight of the entire event.
Also staying at our hotel was the well-known Czech entrepreneur Marek Jabor, who arrived in Karlovy Vary together with his sons to take part in the marathon and experience the atmosphere of this outstanding sporting celebration. It is a great honor for us to welcome guests who value movement, health, family traditions, and active recreation.
The marathon brought unforgettable emotions to the city. Throughout the entire day, music filled the center of Karlovy Vary, sports zones entertained visitors, cafés and terraces were crowded with guests, and participants shared their impressions and photographs against the backdrop of the city’s famous colonnades and breathtaking spa panoramas.
Our hotel Hotel Zlatý Sloup, located in the very center of Karlovy Vary close to the main attractions and walking routes, became the perfect place to stay for marathon participants. After an active sporting day, guests were able to relax in a cozy atmosphere, enjoy comfort, and experience the true hospitality of Karlovy Vary.
